Tesh are missing a LOT of sprites for their stuff. I am a spriter. My friend plays a tesh. I am legally obligated to make tesh sprites or she will Murder Me. However, I do not play a teshari and I don't know what tesh players find themselves *wanting*.

So, post here. What clothing items are missing for teshari? Please don't just say "all of them" because I am not going through and spriting EVERY clothing item to have a tesh sprite. I'll hate myself if I do. Give me specific clothes you want or utility clothes like hardsuits and I will slowly work on them.

A good amount just need to be renamed but are in the code; IIRC this also goes for Vox. Just so you know.

Hardsuits are the most needed in my opinion since they're the only significant-mechanics-having clothing that lack sprites entirely.

Anewbe seems interested in redoing the whole baggy-jumpsuit-rolled-down thing that we've got going on for them, too, and I kind of agree so brainstorming a (couple) new small jumpsuit style(s) might be good.

For a relatively easy spriting, they don't have all the headset sprites set up either. Including the Earset sprite would be nice too, since hearing protection AND radio for loud jobs like mining? \o3o/

This problem has existed since they were first added on Bay, and anything we do is going to be a band-aid fix. I did have a personal project started ages ago to resprite literally all of their sprites into something easier to use, but re-opening that would take more time than I have right now. If someone or someones want, I can finish the new base Teshari sprite I was playing with, pass it by the LoreMaster, and if there's approval I can get other people to work on it, but until that's done they are and will remain simply the most unpleasant thing to work with.

And I don't remember if they're even supposed to be able to use hardsuits. That backpack weighs more than they do.

I've actually been trying to fix or add sprites as I encounter "major" missing ones, so it Was even worse than it is now, but I'll let you know if theres any I notice and I don't immediately spring to fixing.
I like to think of them not being able to wear ear protection as 100% intentional because they have four big fuckoff ears and they'd need specialist gear which nobody outside of teshari communities gives a shit about making because the market is tiny (pun intended)

For the record, no radio headset provides hearing protection. 99.9% sure that's an old myth. Earmuffs and helmets are your friends.

I've been wondering about the four-ear thing. It's not explicitly stated in our lore, and last time I'd asked their maintainer (from a year ago, so outdated info) they hadn't actually put any thought on whether they have that or not.

There are earset sprites in the human ear.dmi which are earmuffs-turned-radio. Honestly I haven't checked if they're used anywhere, but kind of surprised mining doesn't get them.

Ponchos make them look like colourful dorritos. While personally I find this hilarious others may disagree.
