Re: De-escalation of the Sec/Antag arms race

I'm with Ancient. I mainly play security and haven't used or faced off against a single 'military' weapon in months, it's all been pistols and smgs aside from the laser carbines which aren't a huge step up from pistols anyway. Hell, I rarely even have to use the armour. The only people with big guns...

Re: Furohman - Promethean

1. Depressive chemicals, including alcohol. Rather than effecting the cognition of the Promethean directly, this is caused by disruption of their skeletal structure. This can also cause sensory issues and the dulling of a Promethean's standing colour as their control lessens. Conversely, stimulants ...

Re: On the removal or significant alteration of Prometheans.

I agree that they're a little OP with not enough drawbacks right now. They have basically the same level of advantages as Diona, while those guys are explicitly forbidden from being robust. I worry that instead of being remotely what they're intended as, Prometheans have become "The robust race" and...

Re: [Discussion] VeyMed more fragile

Personally I'm for a whitelist or something. There's justifiable reasons for certain characters to have them, but others... Absolutely should not. I don't think straight nerfs are going to do much, since people are using them for aesthetic reasons and not a mechanical advantage over meat-humans for ...

Re: Reinstate Multisurgery

As a surgeon player, I disagree with adding it back in. Faster surgery should be achieved by improved tools from R&D, if anything, and I don't feel like the process is particularly slow. Reliance on chemistry is in my opinion an issue of: 1. People being far too eager to mix up advanced chems. Rando...

Re: [Heads Up] Universal Translators in the Loadout

I like that idea personally because it eliminates the gamey uses while retaining potential rp stuff, but its a case of somebody coding it I guess. If its still a thing come next meeting I'll try to remember to bring it up.

Re: The Tesh Problem

I've actually been trying to fix or add sprites as I encounter "major" missing ones, so it Was even worse than it is now, but I'll let you know if theres any I notice and I don't immediately spring to fixing. I like to think of them not being able to wear ear protection as 100% intentional because t...

Re: First Aid Stations and you: or how i learned to stop worrying and love cargo

Treating patients on the literal ground to get them stable enough to move is exactly what first responders have to do in real life, whether the patient is outdoors or in a building, they're probably lying on the floor and will stay that way right up until the EMTs can get them on a stretcher. That b...
