Re: unicode emoji test

I do not think I see any combining emoji in there. 🤷‍♂️

Re: Spacesuit pressure limits, what's reasonable?

I agree with AA - any substantial firefighting effort would have to account for the threat of sudden vacuum, and since this entire thing started because of the firesuit... I do not think I have seen any minor fires where overpressure became a hazard (and if you are carrying a fire extinguisher, you ...

Re: [Discussion] Full Tile Windows

The biggest issue is that it will be a LOT harder to surreptitiously enter via window from the exterior without setting off air alarms since you won't be able to restrict the breach to just the window tiles themselves. I never found it all that hard to replace dual tile windows anyways. Pane 1, gril...

Re: [Discussion] Player Run Events

I was thinking more like a grab bag of creative writing prompts like "SolGov is planning to visit the facility. What happens next?" That sort of thing - simple, basic, very open ended story starters for people who want to make an event but can't get over the initial hurdle of the blank page.

Re: [Discussion] BrainMed

Rebalancing weapons should really be its own thread, since it's going to start it's own arguments and can be implemented separately from any medical rewrite before being patched later. That said, you could just remove that whole lasers cause blood loss as a quick and easy nerf if it's really needed;...

Re: [Discussion] VeyMed more fragile

I somehow missed Zeng-Hu completely when I was looking at the wiki and the suggested economic ranges and sprites and such. Woops. I think everything else I mentioned still stands, though. Also the bioprinter etc already exists. It's just not mapped in because people want a reason to attach ICly medi...

Re: [Discussion] VeyMed more fragile

The two best mechanical ways to reduce the amount of Vey-Med prosthetics if that is indeed your intent would be to either whitelist them (which would allow maximum character flexibility while requiring the player to remain accountable) or set a minimum economic multiplier required for each brand of ...

Re: ZekeSulastin - heavily refitted atmospherics voidsuit

The item itself would be implemented as a suit modkit - I would still have to get the atmos suit to make the red catmos suit. One step ahead of ya, Mangled ;) the main mechanical difference is that I'd be using the mod kit instead of a suit cycler. (that said, I sure as heck won't complain if someo...
